Individualized Support. Language Access. Limitless Potential.
Deaf Plus Program
Our Deaf Plus Program serves students who are Deaf and have additional disabilities, providing highly individualized instruction in a supportive, language-rich environment. As a small school, we are able to offer low student-to-staff ratios and classroom settings designed around each student’s unique strengths and needs.
At Mill Neck, we work as a collaborative team to ensure every student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is fully integrated into their daily learning experience and classroom placement.
Communication methods are individualized to ensure each student can access learning and express themselves effectively.
We focus on what our students can do.
Our Philosophy
The philosophy of our Deaf Plus Program is rooted in building upon strengths, fostering independence, and creating meaningful opportunities for growth. Rather than concentrating on limitations, we prioritize skill development, confidence, and communication access.
